This day replaces the day which had to be cancelled from our programme in September and promises to be a fascinating exploration of contemplative prayer.

| We are delighted to announce the following events held at the Benedictine Centre, organised by the Lay Community of St Benedict. |
A day with St Benedict: Guest speaker Dom Bede OSB |
Sat June 23rd 10am- 4pm
Saturday January 21st 10 - 5pm
This day will be centred around the Gospel and the spirituality of St Benedict as lived out by lay people. Dom Bede from Worth Abbey will lead two interactive sessions on the Rule of St Benedict and there will be an
introduction to the lay community and Lectio Divina.
No charge, although donations welcomed. Please bring a packed lunch (tea and coffee will be provided).
A second day with St Benedict
Saturday April 28th 10 - 5pm
Lectio Divina: An ancient form of meditative prayer followed by Benedictines through the ages.
Led by Emily & James Westlake and Mike Eggleton.
7 - 8.30 pm on the following evenings, no charge.
